We regret to announce the cancellation of the Government Technology & AI Summit, which was
due to take place on Wednesday 1 July at Convene 200 Aldersgate in St Paul’s, London.
This decision has not been taken lightly. Due to a combination of challenging market conditions and
rising delivery costs, the event is unfortunately no longer viable to deliver at the standard we expect and
that this community deserves.

The UK’s policy landscape for AI, data and government technology has changed rapidly in the past 18 months. The Government’s AI Opportunities Action Plan (2025) and the AI Playbook for the UK Government (2025) set out an agenda to support responsible adoption and steer public-sector use of AI towards the UK’s national priorities. At the same time, the State of Digital Government Review (2025) and follow-up work on data-sharing and collaboration underlines that the government already runs large digital estates and holds valuable data assets but struggles with recruitment and facilitating safe data flow between departments.
